This has been done to death.....if Rangers have 15 players on 5kpw it totals £4m. Another 10 on 1/2k pw =750k ...all in all less than £5m. To meet this they need to sell approx 20000 season tickets. This doesn't take into consideration sponsors or other sources of income.
Green has stated he will not allow Rangers to go into debt agin and its not in his interest to do so.
If the players are happy to sign for £1k a week then it shows the big draw of the Bears, perhaps a wee loan could be arranged but obviously not as part of any contract!
Naismith £20,000 per week
Lafferty £15,000 per week
Whittaker £ 25,000 per week
Davis £20,000 per week
McGregor £ 15,000 per week
Those wages alone come to £ 380,000 a month saved. I dont think signing Sandaza, Kyle and the Brazilian break the bank.
Was green not offering 6.5 million to pay the CVA

A couple of years your a bit confident I mean 5 years and you may be in the first
Debt free as long as Rangers fans don't Walk away ...............well not yet anyway and with title striping and us walking the league each year means you will have allot of catching up to do
coop, do you think the first team players that stayed are only on £5k per week.
Still quite alot of tickets on the go for tonights game...and Greenie is more worried about us
Administration part 2 is on the way, the comedy just keeps coming with this lot.
Coop,
How many season tickets have been sold?
coop
don't baffle them with factual info
Last I heard £25,000 and that was half price so they are doing well
Pontius....Goian & Bocanegra...no, but I think they'll go.Wallace is on 10k

general sales start a week today
Last I heard there were 22,000 season tickets sold
jinky
season ticket prices were reduced by a third not half price
would be surprised if it was as much as 25k already though
There was a Celtic supporter on Radio Clyde last week saying that they had not yet sold 20k ! Bit of a turn up if we sell more than them !!
I made a point in another thread, about this crazy expenditure for the bottom two divisions.
Went down like a cup of cold sick, so it did.

Pontius
if we were repaying a £1m a year on loans then this negates the SPL winnings
add to that we haven't actually spent a bean on transfers and are looking to get money in for players already left i think we'll be just fine but your conern is noted

Coop,
If that is the No. then, like Jinky said, youz have to be happy with that.
