Op I don't know how you've done it but you've actually made us look weaker in the middle of the park.
Mascherano we all know was class, and just to replace him with Adam and forget about the even better replacements in Meireles and Aquilani is a big mistake.

Try again fielding Meireles instead of Adam, and add Adam and Aquilani to the bench, or better yet shift Gerrard to the right and have Meireles and Aquilani in the centre, with Kuyt and Adam going to the bench and you've got it.
Then if you compared the two teams we'd look much stronger!

That's funny because according to the opta stats for midfielders all four of these were in the top 10 midfielders of last season - Kuyt (4th), Henderson (8th), Adam (5th), Downing (2nd).
Not to mention you've left out Gerrard, Meireles and Aquilani who are quality. Oh and there's the mighty Lucas lol.
