Bit gutted that Mido and Silva are on the treatment bench already but Hill has mentioned that he is looking for another striker in the meantime (And one hopefully to be here before the Rochdale game)

Can't really argue with that side Brighton, the side at the minute really picks itself.
I was impressed with Cywka last night, and when he's fully fit he'll prove to be quite a signing. The triallist Scott Hogan sounded impressive and might be worth a punt, as might Sonko, he might even feature on Saturday, if he signs.
Im just really worried about the defense. We couldnt keep a clean sheet for love or money nearly all season and we start this season with no new additions. Goldbourne and wiseman are ok at fullback but we are very poor in the middle, foster is just about past it, edwards is injury prone and Mcnulty is just rubbish. Were still short of quality right down the spine of the side for me. CB, CM and upfront.

Brighton, I think the point you make about Foster, McNulty and Edwards being all very similar is a very valid one. Last season it seemed to me that whatever central pairing we put out they were no better or worse than the other alternative pairing but, generally, coming up a bit short of what you'd hope for at Championship level.
One example, in the New Year game at Donny McNulty was favourite for a through ball but gets muscelled off it way too easily by Sharp and the game's virtually gone.
Hopefully, Sonko or someone similar will help us inject a bit more physical presence and variation at the back.

The exact same thing happened to McNulty against Ipswich at Portman Road. Their striker, who wasn't exactly huge, just brushed him off the ball and went on to score. Hopefully he's attempted to bulk up a bit because I do genuinely think he's a decent defender and can pass it around a bit, he's just missing a bit of strength. I still think Sonko would be a good addition though.
That line up screams mid-table league 1 to me
