A fair assessment Capn Bob but why did you put in the link and then copy and paste from it?
I thought of just leaving the link Spart, but thought I'd paste the article - without all the ads. I like to give people choice.
You wear a belt and bracers then Capn Bob.
Very good. And you didn't quote or namedrop Gramsci either
Interesting article, and a wholly fair assessment Bob.
Thanks for copy n' pasting, much prefer this to clicking links
Interesting that in the assessment of our talented youngsters ( 'development' ) they have failed to mention the biggest gem of the lot, a certain William James Hughes... I hope the scouts of the preying vultures are also so lax!

I think Will Hughes could already play a major role for us this season, like Huddlestone did under Burley. Physically different players, but I think Hughes can rise to the challenge.
I'm concerned, like a few others, about our strikers (Ball on loan, SD unsettled, Tyson injury-prone) but Hughes could offer that bit of guile/creativity we have been missing to a hard-working side. Jacobs also sounds a good player.
The frustration is that we're a goalscorer short of having a decent chance on Top 8 this season.
GK-DF-MF looks solid and with enough 'ideas' going forward...
Theo will always get goals in his own imitable fashion, but the records of Ward & Tyson clearly don't suggest a goal-rush and Bennett is far too young to be relied upon.
The quicker Davies leaves (hopefully), and we spend the cash on a replacement, the better
is there a live stream on the net
Dunno mate not looked, tis only a friendly... olympics is more interesting than pre-season friendlies.
666 is watching!
Even-Stevens thus far, but no real threat from either side. They've hit the woodwork twice, we've had shots from distance but no proper possession from us or the Mackems.

I'm joining Vidals' taliban.
Needed to run the rule over some of these newbies.
Verdict: Clough out
Best player on the park, Jorv.
Cheers 666, how does the defense look if you don't mind
If you mean Bucko, then "fat" is the answer, otherwise not too shabby. Fielding composed, Keogh unflustered, Brayford steady and Naylor in his element.
Hughes off, Tyson on. thrown it away.
Tonight must be the night for Tyson..!!

Blimey, you've stopped calling him Junior - that's the most positive thing I've seen you post about Nige.
