smoke a spliff its great for losing your worries
so much wrong with this article i'm just going to 1
No need for explanation
You obviously don't know anything about how it works, do you?
AVB (or Redknapp before him) identifies a player of interest and notifies the Board. Levy & the Board then take responsibility for negotiations, wages fees etc...........keeping the manager informed as it goes along.
greaves last 2 signings were done b4 avb came as manager, im on about when is avb going to get the chance to identify a player, all im hearing is levy this levy that its the managers job to pick the player needed not lev,y i know rednose fergy wouldnt put up with it.
I read a while back there's a four-man signing 'committee' now. AVB and Levy are obviously on it, I bet Sherwood is too.
Who's the fourth?
I'm afraid i've got to join the 1 bandwagon here.
Levy signed VDV and works hard to do the best for us. This would not include forcing players on a manager.
No-brainer signings like VDV, Vertonghen and Sigurdsson hardly fall into the "Roman signing" bracket
My policy is 2 s minimum for Spurs fans...1 is reserved for obvious wums and other such nonsense.
Mind you that's just me. My filter list is 30 long, and I report posts, been criticised for doing both!
Sounds fair enough to me kimchi
AVB has targets, proproses them to Levy, Levy discusses terms and signs them or not.
Spurs have scouts, reporting to both AVB and Levy, targets discussed, and again, Levy negotiates.
Yes the last 2 weren't discussed at the beginning stage with AVB, but discussions were at end stage in areas we needed.
61................................It is understood that AVB was told abot these potential signings during negotiations with him & he approved.
He will have identified targets, however the market is tight & clubs may be playing hardball because they know we need strikers!
