Obviously he's not as good as Sturridge but I would have him. We need someone with pace and he fits the bill. I wouldn't spend silly money on him mind you, 5m tops.
I like him, think he'd fit in.
He has got that look about him. He might prefer to stay with us nearer home than heading to Sunderlan again.
Right now I'd have anyone.
Scared of having to put me boots on again!
Saw McGinlay on Internet..
Sadly won't be asking him back.. His wife is clearly a better cook now!
Getting Welbeck on loan and possibly Sturridge is a worry though as they are only a quick fix though we are covered for the season but come next summer back in the thick of it again as they go back to their parent clubs.
end of contract for a lot more more players next season, maybe were saving our money up till then,we may have a new squad by then all earning less than 17,000 a week
Would you take Anelka back on perm deal? (seriously speaking)

Probably not, he has probably got two/ three years left in him, with transfer fee, wages and a higher risk of injury, I personally don't think it is worth it.

"How do you surmise Welbeck's not as good as Sturridge? He's looked as good, if not better, when playing for England U21s."
It's called an opinion you tool, so wind your neck in..
It is an opinion, but it's a correct one, Sturridge is a better player than Welbeck, that being said Welbeck is a good player and a welcome addition if it's true.
However you can trust the opinion of the biggest glory supporter I have ever seen! You 'support' Man U Arsenal City Liverpool an Chelsea.. Clown.

Well, no I used cold, hard facts.
Welbeck scored 6 in 26 last season.
Sturridge scored 8 in 12.
I know that as a Utd fan, you only get to watch your players when they are on TV, so I'll forgive you for only using the under 21s as a comparison.

Your idea of comparing Sturridge's performances for Bolton vs Welbeck's for Sunderland is like comparing apples to oranges.
--
Right so your saying that you can't compare Rooney and Heskey because they don't play in the same squad?
How do you compare two players who play for different teams and different countries?
How do managers decide on which player to buy?
Welbeck and Sturridge both play for similar clubs in the same league, they play the same teams so whats the difference?
He's a glory hunter who supports 6 teams, his opinion doesn't matter.
Sturridge is miles better than Welbeck you bell end.
DS = 8 goals in 12 for us
DW = 6 goals in 26 for Sunderland
Need I say more you glory hunting kn@b jockey.

'Some day, i'd love to visit London and watch Man U play. I love all of England, including Dublin and Glasgow'
That's my favourite part of the bio, both sentences are stupid beyond belief.
Poor lad doesn't know Dublin is in Ireland and Glasgow is in Scotland. No wonder he supports Manure.
