Souths, it was my idea to try and get a bit of a response from the Wire fans that would put a bit of life into this site and sometimes the things I put down dont allways make that much sense (even to me).
What I was saying was that a lot of opposistion fans are of the opinion that if a pie shop was burning down in Wigan the locals would save the pies first before sending for the Fire Brigade. (Priorities)
I suppose the wire fans are just a bit blase......"not the cup again...thats come round quick ".
Its obviously important to the Wigan fans, whose grandparents will have told them about The Big day out.
I havent got tickets yet and not sure I will, yeah its a massive game and all that but its on the box, plus with the stadium being in the centre of the town, you can sit in a pub on a comfy chair, something better to wat than a rollover hotdog and watered down booze and watch it whilst still be involved with all the banter outside the stadium, I know thats a really poor thing to say but its true, especially when you have little money, you can get a meal and a bevvy or two for the cost of standing up, I am making this worse arent I lol, the thing is, we're skint and you have to make the most out of your pennies. If I can afford to go, I will get a ticket
