Too many midfielders not enough defenders.
When is this stupid friendly then?
No doubt at a ridiculous time. Wonder how many spurs players will get injured this time
Someone pull the plug on international football please. Its absolute shytte
I'm glad Hodgson sees it as a stupid friendly and hasn't selected many Liverpool players.
"Wonder how many spurs players will get injured this time"
more than likely Defoe, leaving us with no strikers.....maybe, just maybe then we might dip into the market
When is this stupid friendly
.......
Next wednesday 3 days before the start of the fecking season
Interesting that he has left alot of the experienced players out.
I the FA. They are well smart.
"I'm glad Hodgson sees it as a stupid friendly and hasn't selected many Liverpool players." Good spot that, not the 15 or so he took to Euros, no, needs to do his scouse friends a favour and only choose from rivals...and West Hams Andy Carroll
Michael Carrick. A few months too late Roy.
That 5 yard, (20 yard over hit pass) to Walcott gives me shivers.
Still got Milner in the squad i see ,
To be fair I think Roy acknowledges that Liverpool players will be busy with Europa qualifiers and play offs thereby unnecessary to risk them for a friendly.
1 liverpool player in the squad and hes on his way out of the club
3 days before the start of the season lol
Great time for a friendly
FA. Just when we thought you couldn't get any more stupid you have proved us all wrong
Absolute idiots
Livermore in, Gerrard out so Livermore > Gerrard
It's an experimental squad, good on Roy for leaving the Liverpool players out... Especially with a friendly so close to the start of the season.
I think Roy's right to take the B team.
He needs to see them fight for a place as squad players.
"To be fair I think Roy acknowledges that Liverpool players will be busy with Europa qualifiers and play offs thereby unnecessary to risk them for a friendly."
Yeah never thought of that, at least everyone else has a few weeks until they have any serious games to play
To be fair I don't think the FA has anything to do with this, everyone's playing friendlies Wednesday aren't they?
Where are Rooney and Gerrard. As usual given leave of absence in friendlys, so they can be in peak fitness for the big kick off. Talk about one rule for some players and another rule for the rest of the squad.
>>Where are Rooney and Gerrard.
Roy's experimenting with the players on the fringe of the squad for the most part.
The nailed on starters aren't needed
Redinthehead -at least we didn't finish 13th (

So putting 4 Spurs players in, 2 of whom are certain starters for the prem season is good for them then.

Think Roy has realised these two are crap for England and not interested in playing for their country so he has got rid
Well done Roy

They way Rooney has been performing for England, he should be anything but a nailed on starter. Therein lies the problem with England. Too many players think they are undroppable.
