Nice to see effort being put in to reach new areas with the game. it's good for the kids to be active and if they are up to it, a carreer path. Well done Hard Rock Cafe too.
Attended an RFL scholarship session last weekend featuring kids in U14/15/16 age groups - all representating the different service areas. London and the Midlands had loads of players and they seemed pretty good, the Midlands even drew with their Yorkshire counterparts
hard rock cafe.......potential new sponsor for the quins??
Amateur clubs are the way to go, work from the roots up.
Midlands seem to be a good growth area, nice to see kids playing but no guarantee it will then hold a supported club.
leicester or northhampton rugby union clubs should have bought wakey there when they were in admin. shifted the first team down to their home grounds and built up for a franchise next time round.
the academy etc etc could have still been based in wakey.
