Putting inflated prices on a player = club really don't want to sell. So unless it was a stupid price then no we don't want to sell.
Like Wolves with Fletcher - they want in effect TWENTY million quid with all the add ons and that.
Now really stupid club chairmen will actually try and do the deal and this is how the markets get inflated.
It's a message to say we dont want to sell. That means the deal is dead unless the player decides he wants to go. Then everything changes.
I agree with Reebok Rules. 4m is an insulting offer, you'd only consider that for a player like Mavies if you were desperate to get him off the wage bill or to stave off administration or something.
Now that Allen has gone to Liverpool let's see how much Swansea want mavies
According to some rag, Swansea are complaining they can't afford to buy young talented English players because the clubs want too ,much money for them.
They seem to have a different outlook when it comes to selling players.
15M for Allen is a bit crackers. If it was anyone else other than Rodgers, who knows the play intimately well, I'd be laughing my head off at it.
