Hang on Larry would've brought more players in silly post to say the least

Yes I know H, but given his track record, that wouldn't fill anyone with confidence. It was more a post to say look where we were, compared to now

I like the enthusiasm but you have the likes of :

Franktheplank (just weird)

Ovidtheidiot (just moronic)

LIW(backs up his points but still glass half empty most of the time)

Jonty(as above)

Personally i appreciate our team under the circumstances, players like Pearce and Austin would be welcome even if we had more money.

Well done gaffer.

Yeah Larry would have brought in:

a couple of league one duds

A premeir league 34 year old has been on a 4 year contract

And 10 kids on loan

I didn't mind Snoddy going myself. The one player who would make a big difference to this years team would be a Gradel type. Snoddy for all his skill etc didn't have the pace. Don't think he'll be a top 5 team player.

I'd much much much prefer the Grayson team. And Snoddy might have stayed under Grayson as he knew we were less likely to get thumped every game and could have had a chance of promotion.
Oh and by the way - Warnock was in charge of the team that finished last season - didn't you notice that? I thought it would have hit home when relegation battling Forest, who hadn't scored in three games, hit 7 past us at ER. Under Warnock, not Grayson. Warnock the man who had been swiftly sacked by QPR after his captain said he did not do any training and had no idea of tactics.
Unless Warnock goes within 3 months we are in a relegation fight.

yaboah how do you know what would've happened

You just don't get it, Bates is taking you for a cash ride
There is NO chance on the pitch until Bates leaves so concentrate on booting him out.
More importantly thousands won't go to ER until that monster has left, Bates Out

This is the same Warnock who built a QPR team having flirted with relegation in one summer and got promotion. Was it Grayson who got us beat by Barnsley all the time!!! Let it rest snail your now quoting Barton as someone who knows about football tactics. Can't wait to see where we are in 3 months time.

Where is snoddy Gradel etc?

RSL, get in the real world. There are people that can be classed as monsters, but it's football were discussing. Do you remember the 80's. What about the days before Revie. Let's get behind the team for the sake of Leeds United.

Who's to say Snodgrass would not have stayed if Grayson was still here?

Grayson might have got us up if he was still here - how many oiints were we off playoffs when he got sacked?

And why have you not got McCormack in Graysons side?

Remember the club statement when he was sacked "We have 18 games to go this season and are still within touching distance of the Play-Offs, but felt with the transfer window now closed we needed to make the change at this time in the belief that a new managerial team will be able to get more out of the existing squad of players and make the difference"

Warnock clearly did not do this so failed his 1st task - team were a lot worse under Warnock

just a touch YW, they didn't know how to play hoof ball

Grayson soon to be Warnock bashing!.

A few question's for all that love to drag Grayson through the usual Leeds United he couldn't do it because he wasn't backed stuff!..

What makes you so sure Grayson would't have made the play off's if he'd been given the last few weeks of his time at Leeds United?..

Why hasn't Warnock got what he was promised before coming to us?..

Where are the big signings he said were coming in?..

Where did the players go that should/could have done what we're so good at dragging people down at go?..

Who's really to blame?..

Wait for it, I know that some/most will still kick Grayson, but what will Warnock do when he realizes the team he is getting in will only be sold out from under his rug when he thinks he's nicely snug in his office of what do I have to do to keep these bloody fans happy!..

A manager can only ask for who he wants, and as "All" managers under Bates have found, its not an easy job getting them, and we'll see when Warnock says bye bye that he's not going to give Bates the chance to bring him down!..

Hopefully this Bye out is well and truly back on, because if its not, then we can compare the next manager against Warnock!.

But whoever that is, they'll more then likely have their best players sold when the go to bed!.

Getting behind the team by giving Bates cash is not the answer.
It was a poor article trying to suggest we have a better team now.
We had a better team in L1

posted on 11/8/12

Try to be realistic, the club is going backwards, fans don't want to attend ER until Bates leaves
As for the team, is it promotion material?
IMO a big NO

posted on 11/8/12

Whats Warnock done, he's brought in a few players with a bit of bite, the sort that will scrap it out in a league that will do all to stop the next!..

FFS, that's not the sort for promotion, we need a few Georg Michaels with the odd Boy George and an Elton in goal!.

Well you never know, what sort of player would all our would be managers bring in?..

Think on, the ones you may want may have been looked at, but as always the manager doesn't have the final say!..
