Now then Fred.. i think a few of us said this a while back on here. massive engine on him and short quick passing. Bit of watching Leiva and learning not to dive in a think he is made for that role... but we need to give him time...another thing we can all learn from Leiva.

all henderson has to do is add some grit to his defensive play. he hasn't got the ability to play an attacking midfield role. lucas was exactly the same. then all of a sudden he started to add a tough streak to his game. his tackling vastly improved and his ability to win the ball in the air also greatly improved. now people rate him as one of the best DM around. henderson has the potential to become this good IF he takes the same steps that lucas took

Shelvey cannot tackle and cud easily get himself sent off

Am I the only one who doesn't rate Henderson at all? I think Adam who is slow and has less skills is more useful with his passing, crossing and goals. Spearing can do a job protecting the defence but Henderson so far has no identity. I've no idea why people are continuously defending him game after game and telling us he has potential and will come good.

Football is not just about athleticism. We don't need runners in our team. We need footballers. Henderson is not a footballer. He can do a better job running on track in the Olympic.
