I've really enjoyed the olympics, a lot more than i thought i would, i was fed up hearing about it before it started. But right from the off it's clear to say it's been a sucsess can't say as i've concentrated on the commentry to much, its some of the female athletes that i've enjoyed the most Laura Trott what an absolute honey!!!! And the taekwondo lass from north wales As for the legacy of sport, i just know?? Glad to see so many scots doing well for a country of 5 million people with the worst health and diet (supposedly) on the planet we've done really well. I'd like to see some more lottery money put into grass roots football.

Presenters like Clare balding will always be in the minority. As most of you have demonstrated its all about eyeing up the totty on the telly. That will always go before sporting knowledge unfortunately.

There's a glass ceiling for women in sports presenting - look at Gabby Logan. She's fairly attractive and is very good at what she does (as again proved by her handling of the highlights show at nights during this Olympics) yet she will never get a big gig in this industry because she's a woman.

LMC, my wife has been a lot worse than me its quite shocking really, i'm only having a wee joke, i never really listen to commentators to much, as i listen to SPL football all time time and have learned to block most of them out.!!!

sue barker and gabby logan have had seniority above all the male presenters.

balding is a junior who is only just starting to work in sports other than her "own" sport.

I hope one day they do Ivan, need to rid the game of.folk like Andy gray and mark lawrenson.

Balding would be fantastic on Grandstand if it were to be brought back
