Is that you in the union flag kilt Edin?
Sir Chris Hoy. That man is what you would call a legend.
It's a tough call, so many great performances.
For me though, from a totally non patriotic view, it has to be David Rudisha, it was just a monumental effort, and he seems like such a decent guy, i felt so happy for him.
Plus he's a gooner
Katie Taylor.
That is all.
I thought the ones who were just chuffed to get a medal summed what a great event LOndon 2012 has been. The Judo women who just looked up and said 'love you mum' after winning gold brought a tear to my eye!
But my fav gold is most probably Wiggins after winning the Tour De France, plus he lives in my neck of the woods so I'm bias!
Sorry, she won Silver....my Bad!

Mo was really good.
Favourite non GB has to be David Rudisha breaeking the 800m world record, amazing performance and so humble.
Laura Trott, because she is so dominant in her sport, Wr in the pursuit and destroying her opponent in the final sprint and in the eliminator ...she is 20 a double gold medal winner with at least three games in front of her, couyld possibly better Chris Hoy, who is also one ofmy faves the way he won the keirin, in fact our dominance in the veladrome was my favourite part, we are a light year ahead of anyone else
also would like to mention Mo and Jess, they were emotional golds
Great article Edin
I think oddiY summed it up pretty neatly too, would like to add Jessica Ennis' performance in the hurdles - stunning
I reallt struggle to understand why people SUDDENLY care about these athletes they cant be bothered wit all year round. These sports stars are not heros..heros are fire fighters etc etc

Murray's gold in the tennis. Long time coming and psychologically significant (I hope).
My favourite moment was when the giraffe ran on to the pitch and kicked Aaron Ramsey in the nostril
