Yeah, we definitely need professionals at our club, rather than the St Johns ambulance.
A calf strain is a horrific injury, my thoughts go out to Jason and his family.
Get well soon.
I've heard calf strains can be terminal.
Get well soon Jason
Dead certs for relegation now.
DF John Brayford
DF Russell Anderson
DF Jake Buxton
DF Dean Leacock
DF Mark O'Brien
Though to be fair Wassa, Anderson and Buxton are also out with "tweaks"
GK Frank Fielding
GK Adam Legzdins
GK Stephen Bywater
GK Ross Atkins
GK James Severn
GK Saul Deeney
Well can we put a keeper in
Not now that Ross Atkins has gone to Burton Albion. I don't think we've got enough to fill in...
Though, here's food for thought. Surely as the last line of defence, the goalkeeper is the most defence-minded player in the team/squad. If we've got five, could we not play one in the goal, and four across the back?
I wish we could have played 5 'keeprs at once during 'that' season in the Prem - we might have kept some of the defeats down to a respectable 3 or 4-Nil
Bywater will leave, Severn will go out on loan as indicated and that leaves Fielding, Legdzins and Deeney. 1, 2, 3. That isn't excessive really - most clubs have 3 keepers.
