I hope you're right, but i do have genuine concerns about how we'll deal with high balls coming into our box from out wide next season.

Noticed it a lot last year that Raf is becoming more adept at levering players under the ball when the crosses come in, something Neville was always very good at. Evra of course will overhead kick it away instead of trying with his head

We lack height at the back, and we've lost O'Shea. Evra and the twins are knee high to a grasshopper which worries me.

................

Evra and the twins are full backs not centre halves. They do not need to be tall.

Rafael in particular is quite impressive in the air.

"Why have i never heard of this Vermijl kid yet i am convinced that Pogba, Tunnicliffe and Morrison are the next big things?!?!?"

You've never heard of Vermijl because you obviously haven't been paying attention!
The other you mention have been at the club for years, whereas Vermijl has only been there a year.

And OP, why is it "unacceptable" to play Evans at LB? His games in that position have been better than his CB performances last season; he is perfectly capable of playing there.

If I tell you the OP wished me to die of cancer, or aids, if I prefer, on another thread, it might help explain why we are dealing with an attention seeking cretin here.

You just could not make this kind of thing up.

I never said the title was racist.

However it is racial stereotyping.

Thinking about it, it probably was. After all, what is wrong with having a fast white guy, or hispanic guy up front, or chinese or indian for that matter.

Not really. Black people have more fast-twitch muscle fibres than white people, which makes them more athletic. Hence the reason that sports such as sprinting and boxing are dominated by black athletes.

Also, he is actually suggesting that black people are superior to white people anyway.

Saying something that has been scientifically proven is racial stereotyping?

Black people have bigger bone mass that white people. Hence the reason that sports such as swimming and diving are dominated by white athletes.

Then this statement is suggesting that white people are superior to black people. Is this still not racial stereotyping or being racist.?

Not if it is a scientific fact. Is it?

Black athletes tend to be quicker and more explosive than white ones. White athletes are often better at endurance. It is fact, backed up by scientific study.

It's not all black people, was watching a programme on it the other day. Apparently Jamaicans have a bigger chance, which is why despite being a small nation they have a high number of elite athletes.

Think Klitschko showed that it doesn't apply so much for boxing. Mayweather uses it well to dodge fights and run from Pac man tho

Scientific facts are just that Scientific facts.

They don't excuse racial sterotyping.

Not all black people are athletes, not all white people are swimmers.

Wouldnt it be best if we all didn't feel the need to highlight these genetic differences. This is how the n@zis justified their actions, quoting medical proof that we are not all of the same human footprint. Its actually b@ll@cks. What that cretin meant was that United need a fast guy up front, not a fast black guy. And rightly got moded for it.

I never said they were. He was talking about black footballers though wasnt he? Who I would consider to be athletes.

I will of course make an exception for Titus Bramble.

It was a total mismatch to be fair. Haye couldnt get near him. With the reach advantage the speed of Haye was negated. Be interested in what would happen if they were of the same, or even similar build. Both very good fighters, but they shouldnt really have been fighting each other.
