In other news: Ian Abrahams reckons West Ham are trying to sign Remy
----------------------------------------------------------
In truth they're just trying to sell him a Season Ticket
" as much as some of you don't like harry, he would always had some kind of trick up his sleeve"
Really chicken? The only trick i seem to recall was Harry magically losing a 13 point lead in 3rd place, now that was an impossible trick.

if the 'package' is sufficient to attract them, they will come...regardless of who is manager
===============
Maybe the package can also paly a part, but normally when a new manager is appointed he's linked with players from his old club, who from his last club would even consider moving under his management? Zero. Notthat we'd have got any, but there's normally one or two (even fringe players) the new club are linked to.
And i dont buy that Levy stops managers buying players. Yes, he drives a hard bargain, but thats more to keep Spurs afloat, and competing at the right end of the league, than (as you make it sound) deliberately harming the manager's chances.
I dont trust Levy's appointment of AVB, but i do trust that he does everything he can to make us better, so i dont think he is ignoring AVB's requests - its probably more to do with the fact AVB has got less appeal than Levy may had hoped.
we should put a bid in for Billy Boots
Juventus and Tottenham are leading the race to sign Fernando Llorente after Athletic Bilbao confirmed the Spain striker will not be renewing his contract with the La Liga club.
...Apparently...

Doovde - No chance Bilbao said that his buyout clause has to be activated and Levy won't pay that money.
I know We wouldn't buy him anyway, even on a free. Levy and AVB hate strikers.
we are going to be the new Spain
jenas will make runs from midfield ,
'Well if I were him and had only Defoe to choose from, I wouldn't be prepared to take the sodding blame for it.'
This comment!! World class it's says it all,AVB can only work with what we've got! And what we've got up front ain't good enough.
Also agree with Don and Weare totally
Shmexy, I'm as doubtful on this as the rest...but they made the statement about his release clause before he said he wouldn't sign another contract. As a result the situation may have changed.
Groove - I hope so. He'd be a quality signing
Shmexy...the only real stumbling block we have is that he wants CL football, which leaves Juve in the driving seat. Hard to tell much pulling power they've got now with the news about Conte getting a 10 month ban.
It's not AVB's fault if we have a poor start, only one man to point the finger at and he looks like Phil Mitchell
Grant Mitchell?
Now I googled it, it makes more sense
Grant/Daniel
