castration might be the solution - perhaps then they will calm down & & see some sense !!!!
peakwhite's comments demonstrate a strong sense of principle in terms of wanting to maintain the integrity of Leeds United.
That alone should be respected.
Whilst I think its wrong to not want to have us go up.
Infact thats stupid.
But at least peak has got principles unlike the manager
Principles? You'd rather have principles than get promoted, I hated watching Warnock main his way the the league with QPR, but I longed for a.manager with balls like him, we now have THE manager to take us up, not a good prospect, or someone who's last promotion was a decade ago, someone PROVEN on a CONSISTENT basis, Warnock can do whatever he pleases, all I care about is getting up.
LIW - why can't u stop knocking our manager & give him a break ? All this 'principles' tosh is beyond a joke.NW really doesn't have that luxury & has the nous to spot an opportunity & has perhaps compromised his own previous judgement for the greater good of our team.
NOW STOP MOANING & START SUPPORTING
LIW - why can't u stop knocking our manager & give him a break

Am fully behind him, and am not bothered if he has principles or not. All that matters is he does well for leeds.
My bug bear is when everyone says he'll walk etc etc, making out he's got principles, he bloody hasnt and would never walk out unless he had another job lined up on more money

If you think this board is bad then you obviously didn't go on the old 606.
Guys...
Let's not get this thing out of context eh?
Gelderd...I am assuming you can read of course. That being the case, if you read what I wrote you would have noted that I said I would sacrifice one season rather than have EHD in a white shirt. Hopefully, it would only take that long for us to get rid of a player that, quite frankly, no other club wants to risk anymore.
A lot of neutrals are saying that he has finally found his true home. That bad perception we project is something I for one am not comfortable with. You clearly have diametrically opposite views to mine. You are entitled to your views and your principles and I hope you are content living with them. I know I am with mine.
Gelderd, spot on - we've had our fair share of players that were less than angelic over the years. The Dirty Leeds tag is something that other teams love to use, they don't need an excuse; it won't go away, Diouf or no Diouf. The Leeds manager and players seem to accept the lad, and *they're* the important people in this situation. EHD is *our* now player, and a good one, white shirt = cheer. Simple. It's football not Afghanistan
Franklyn..what was the name of that wum on the bbc site?
We had several on the old one some still here like clive who was clivetime
I am not a wum, I first went to see Leeds at the Trevor Cherry testimonial against Sheffield Wednesday in 1980 and have held a season ticket since 1987, first in Lowfields terrace latterly in West Stand. My views are just as valid as yours, only different.
Yes, I would rather we got relegated than see EHD play for us. Some things are more important than getting relegated or promoted, I am ashamed of Leeds under Warnock and with EHD in the time so I will be staying away whilst either of them are there. Hopefully for not much longer.
I don't see what 'getting laid' has to do with it by the way. What an immature comment.
I thought turtle brain had said he won't come back till Bates, Warnock and Diouf are out of the club.
Which is nice
The old "dirty" thing is a press given thing, we all love the press, but the best is the Southern Post, they had a spot for the Northerners, especially the ones that could play them and beat them at their own game!.
Me, I'm the sort that takes people as they are, get on with them or just leave em be, say what I have to say and hear what they want to say, doesn't mean I have to like them and know lots don't like me!..
A name tag, a manager, a player, the feelings towards us whould be the same with or without them, its just brought that bit more to the front because others don't like them, the same as when they were at other teams and we didn't like them, just that three little dislikes make one giant one, and me, I think no differantly to how I did before the three came together!..
We are Leeds,(disliked because of the Southern Post!)we have a manager,(we hated just as much as anyone!)and we have a player,(oh he must feel so lonely in this world!.)
You know what, I feel the same as I did this time last year, a bit older maybe but the feelings the same!.
Roll on next weekend, lets get up their noses!.
The question of 'principles' is a difficult one, as we all have different values of exactly what is and isn't acceptable. Wasn't our previous manager caught on the job - some would say this is unacceptable whilst others would applaud him.
In reality, Warnock's mistake was in publicly berating EHD last year - something which he has now had to do a U-turn on. Time will tell whether EHD has been a good acquisition, but we forget there were controversies surrounding the likes of Vinny Jones, Eric Cantona and Lee Bowyer who were all great players for the club.
it means you clearly have some underlying issues for you to be so negative and bitter all the time....just let it go, it will be ok!
It doesnt matter when your first game was, if all you do is turn up and moan (as i imagine you do) then surely it would be better to stay at home no?
EHD is a top player, he's apparantly playing for next to nothing....the players were consulted and most people who have worked with him say he is pleasant around the dressing room! Yeah he has had his on-field moments, no worse than the John Terry incident though, would you turn him down?
If you would rather get relegated than see him in a Leeds shirt then it renders your support invalid....i now know not to take anything you say seriously....pathetic!

I went to that game as well, strange though, I went to the one in October 1981. must have missed the 1980 match
Obviously NW & EHD have both been doing Mrs Ovid and he's upset about it.
Neil Warnock has been there done that. He's got 7 promotions so far. You may not like him but he is certainly the best man for the job at this moment in time.
