No. I just marvelled at the oak tree in goals for Celtic.

He sounds like an ogre when he speaks but i bet he's a BFG

celtic had the airbus and the QE2 parked on the goal line last night

farza over play the ball in dangerous areas in particular way way too much these days imo
---

Funny thing is there was a complete change in attitude after Celtic's 2nd goal. It was almost as if they weren't too bothered being 1-0 down and were playing for a draw confident they'd grab a late equaliser.

The way they pinged the ball between 16 Celtic players in the buildup to their goal was the sort of stuff only Barça are capable of, but except for the dying minutes, they played without any sense of urgency whatsoever.

Haven't reviewed the goal, but I get the impression Xavi must've been involved. In recent games he's shown a greater level of skill on the ball than at any other time in his entire career. Last night there was one Zidanesque instance where he brought the ball down backwards with his first touch, taking it away from 2 or 3 Celtic players and into acres of space behind him. It's small details like that that make me want to watch Barça every single time they play, similarly to when Zizou was playing for us.

IOAG - You could hear gasps from the crowd when he did that.

Funny thing is, Barca have played far worse than last night this season and won comfortably.

You're right about the change in attitude. Honestly could have scored 2 or 3 more had they had 5 more minutes. But that's what they get for being complacent cormorants!

No, Ayoze (FB), just looked it up.

Jesús Vázquez, Abel Aguilar and Salomão are out too.

I like how Madrid fans dislike (kind of) Ronaldo. I don't blame them either. He's a bigger than Benzema.

Hi Xavi-O.

Only ever watch highlights, but I can see where the Dinho comparison comes from.

Hello IOAG, everyone at work thinks im some sort of guru for predicting Cazorla would be the best player in England. Thanks again haha

Neymar could become better than cristiano, he has everything...i wish he would move to england and embarrass a few defenders twice a week. What's the latest in spain (and tenerife) ? anything interesting going on?

Not much personally. In general just very busy with the baby.

A lot going on on the social and political scene.
A women threw herself off her 4th-floor balcony yesterday when they went to evict her - 2nd successful suicide in 2 weeks in the same circumstances, a 3rd is still in intensive care. Others on hunger strike outside local bank branches.
There's an average of over 500 evictions a day, and the politicians are starting to brick it because if this goes on they know they're going to end up hung, drawn and quartered.
The general impression is that the banks are being refloated at the expense of the people, which is basically true. On average, each Spaniard, via the Government, has chipped in 1800 Euros to the banking system.

Hospital staff lock-ins all around Madrid in protest over plans to privatise 80% of the regional health system.

Corruption cases in court everywhere.

Madrid city council in deep shít over an avalanche at a halloween party that killed 4 teenagers at a city council-owned sports arena.

Elections called in Catalonia with the main Catalan nationalist parties, who are pushing for independence, looking likely to claim a landslide victory.

Otherwise all pretty good.
