The issue is that it is unlikely the board will re-invest the money. If I was sure they will, I'll be happy with £20M!

It is just beyond belief isn't it?
We have a 30+ striker in Rooney and they have one in RVP. Yet he thinks that we need there 30+ striker more than them - you know, just to add him to our other 30+ a season striker. Even though we have other forwards and wingers that contribute more in terms of goals than their wingers and forwards.
