We (Arsenal) were linked to him a couple of days back. Looks like a good player, and would be a real bargain for you guys
Never seen him play but if the big fella says he is good that will do it for me
We need a wide right option, but if he can do left and right he will be a bargain. I guess this would rule us out of a move for Landon IF he signs?
Would you rather have a 24 year old for £5-6m or a 30 year old for quite a bit more?
any chance of him and niang or is that dream world ... it dreaming isn't it
and agree landons too old and too expensive
I dont think Landon would be more than 3-4m due to being in his last year of his deal.
Would be great to get both in as Landon can play up front
Miralles plays for Olympiakos against Arsenal, in the CL and he was decent. One of the Arsenal users rates him highly (his name is John). A striker/Winger. Well worth the punt.
Felli, Landon is also the poster boy for US football, the MLS won't let him go on the cheap. Remember, they hold his registration, not Galaxy.
also Landon said he might retire so could have lost his motivation
With only a year left? I doubt they could demand anything above 3-4m
I would love him to come, but wouldnt be disapionted if we got other younger targets in
OK look at it this way.
Would you rather have a player that will have 2-3 good seasons left in them max, of one that could go on for 7-8 for similar money?
Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of LD, but unless he comes on the cheap, I'd rather invest in the future.
Now we have some funds and a gap in the wage bill, I think it's the time to do just that.
HMM, you are not following me are you?
I am not all mad on Landon, I know our constraints with finances and would see this other guy coming in the end of our persuit of Landon.
2-3 seasons left, sounds a little bit like Pienaar
Fair enough mate
The thing with Pienaar is he already fits into what we want to do with the team, and has a superb understanding with Baines. But I see your point.
Let's hope we get this bloke and that teenager we have on trial, they both sound like great prospects for us.
Oh I am chuffed Pienaar is back. Just as I would be to see Landon, even just both for 2,3,maybe 4 years would add quality we need in a few areas of the pitch as both are versatile.
If we can beat others to this lad who is on trial!!! Could be a bargain and a fantastic deal.

Get him on loan, and if he can still do the buisness, sign him up for nowt when his contract is up.
Assume you have seen the you tube clip. I know Bily looked decent on there but still. The belgian Ronaldo could be signing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NmMJI2MDY4&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Wouldn't you guys need a few centre midfielders? Considering you lost Rodwell and Cahill and we kinda took Arteta last season I cant help but thinking you're a little bit bare there
We have plenty of options in midfield, dont panic about that.
Rodwell hardly played and Naismith can play the supporting role along with Ossie
Gibson and Felli have been, and will be first choice for this season, and there is also Ross Barkley to come into the side this year as well and the others mentioned. We also have Neville and Johhny H who can play the defensive midfield role.
It is our right side and up top that needed strengthening, and maybe a CB as well.
Lets hope he does get signed up and its not a last minute dash. I would also take a punt of Matt Phillips from Blackpool
Not so sure about CB, I see Duffy as a fine player
I'll be honest and say I've not seen Duffy play. If he's that good I guess we're OK!
Good in the air, pretty good distribution and just needs games to build experience/game reading
Looks like the Mirallas talks are in full swing, as the BBC have now posted the story on their website.

Hope it comes off, we could do with a life for Mondays game. Nothing better than welcoming a new arrival in front of a packed house
