Don`t listen to all this crap about it being only £23 million, usual rubbish reporting to try to stir up the Spurs supporters to thinking Levy has messed up. He has not, he has got rid of the little rat at a profit, and in all probability ripped off Madrid in the process.

Minus modric, minus champions league, and the players you could have got with that 35-40mil will prove harder to get the lure of champions league ain't there
RBDB - the same reason we had Modric,Hudd, Sandro, Parker and Livermore (not quite the same quality!) - you need a squad, and strive to improve it. Modric would fit nicely in their squad and gives them another deep player - if his partnership with Hudd is anything to go by, Modric and Alonso will be electric
