Thanks for the kind words. But we need deeds. Have to beat Oz then its game on.
We beat OZ in the groups we will get to the final and on the day whether we are playing SA or NZ anything CAN HAPPEN
If Ireland turn up and play to their full potential its all possible - but it will mean breaking a habit of a lifetime - Im not sure - I will be throwing my support behind Ireland if they play any SH team - but I dont think they will do it
With all respect to Jonah, 4 years ago it was Eales and Zinzan Brooke who were singing our praises before the tournament started.... And one of the main news papers in NZ had reported us a highly dangerous to the AB's should we meet them. Those opinions were based on an emphatic destruction of England in croker... and now we have a similar situation... if you believe in omens... this is not a good one
So as sodacake has said... words are nice but its deeds that count.
To be fair it can't possibly go as badly as last time so heres hoping, 3rd place play off i think would be a great result for us.
If we ever are going to have a realistic chance this year it will be as under the radar unexpected or underestimated, similar to the Pumas last time out. But i don't think anyone ignores us, we genuinely have a decent team and a few world class operators so we have no chance to sneak in under the radar.
Oh Dingbat - please dont mention that game in Dublin - I was there - priveleged to be there on that particular day - but jeez - painful - after this weekends shock - it could go either way for Australia when they play Ireland -

Hehehe sry mate
It was a great occasion mate, a day we grew up a bit as a nation. Mutual respect given and teken and a great result from our point of view but it showed me the difference once and for all between our great sport and wendyball hehe
Anyway. I think we certainly have enough to beat OZ if we play at full tilt and for the full 80. I would not attempt to make a prediction tho. Just gona wait and see with crossed fingers and hope we take the momentum from the 6N's games forward with us.
talk about omens remember what happened the last time leinster won the heiniken cup?
