Went to see him last month when he was up this way.. Was superb mate
Back on form, and the warm up guy from N.Ireland was good too
I don't know what to make of Frankie Boyle. I'm not easily offended but are jokes about Madelaine McCann taking it too far?
His second tour/DVD wasn't for me, but his show just now is hilarious
no because they are just jokes
he gets paid to be nasty etc and he may abuse it at times but i dont think for 1 minute hes a really bad guy
I'm not on twitter but I have his page bookmarked and give it a read most days.. Some of the stuff he comes or with is just priceless
I feel sorry for the bloke that starts pumping his daughter. Imagine having to meet him for the first time
I went to see him at the Kings a couple of years ago and halfway through a couple sitting in front of us got up and left.
It's Frankie Boyle what were they expecting?
Anyway if you like Frankie check out Doug Stanhope on youtube, American but with a similar style. He plays the Glasgow comedy festival each year. Although no one gets up and leaves halfway through, I guess we are all just a bunch of sick puppies.
Irvine comedic licence is an interesting thing what is too far and what can be interpreted as offensive is all down to the individual. If you dont like what they say then dont listen or watch or pay to see that individual.
As long as they dont spout hate speach and incite violence is all good in my book.
Frankie Boyle was good but he fell into the trap of trying to constantly out do himself in the offensive stakes. Try Doug Stanhope he can be offensive but also has something to say about society.
whats your fav Frankie joke?
i loved the one about Lewis Hamiltons brother
'I won a Grand Prix today what did you do?'
'I drank from a foookin cup Lewis'
Where you at the Eden court show Juke? Me too He was on form and the warm up guy had me in knots. It was offensive stuff but not as bad as the last DVD. He is being more clever this time.
Amy Winehouse looks like a campaign poster from a charity for neglected horses
wiretapper Seen Doug twice at the last two glasgow comedy festivals the guy is outstanding manages to bring a fresh act year after year.
wheres he playing tonight?
One of the jokes he said was about the new Sectarian laws that were passed and that police officers were being taught the songs so they knew what to listen out for. He said it would have been funny seeing a room full of strathclydes finest pretending they dont know the words to the sash He gave big venegoor a menshy as well.
kings theatre tonight, and the next 2 nights.
Aye Dave, instead of trying to be outright offensive like he was during his last tour he was thinking about the jokes, and they were brilliant.
Also liked his wee bit where he defended himself against Piers Morgan and Katie Price.. He made a good point while being funny.
Did you see yourself in the warmup guys photo on Facebook? I did
No what was his name again? did you do the N azi salute?
Martin Mor
Nah I just raised my pint to him, which my mate spilt most of it over me with his rètarded flappy arms
If his Daughter looks anything like him she will be hard pressed to pay anyone to pump her never mind giving it away for free.
I found it but Im near the back of the stalls so cant see me
row d in the stalls
if he picks me and rips the mickey on his next dvd i'll be fleck in mortified
Seeing him tonight as well think it's row c the Mrs got. I am fecked .
Think dvd recording is only Friday Saturday.
