They didn't attack us much so it's too early to judge our defence, early on in the game it didn't look too good.
I dunno, seemed like different personnel but the same old Arsenal to me!

tbh honest i always though that podolski was abit like eduardo in terms of playing better with another striker.
I wouldn't say our defense was solid, they barely attacked us and still had a glaring opportunity to score.

My point on the defence looking good wasn't so much that we weren't troubled; it's that the actual set-up looked better. We kept at least 3 players back, which IMO, is the change we've needed to make for a while now.
Fanboy, I totally agree.
I've always considered him a Vela or Eduardo type that prefers to drop into the space and link-up with a striker more comfortable with his back-to-goal.
I'm not sure if Wenger's looking to adapt him to a false 9, like Van Persie, or an inside-forward.
Hopefully, he can adapt to both roles.
