Divides opinion but I like him.
Can't see both him and Sahin tbh
Is M'Vila a proper DM though? He's never struck me as one, more of a deep lying playmaker. And we've got enough of those.

Why? Completely different type of midfielders.
After losing Song, M'vila would make an adequate replacement.
But if we get both, my god; would we have enough central midfielders in our club, or what?
He's signed!!! Says so on Wiki
I like his style of play. Reminds me of more like Coquelien.
RT @GoonersPage: Rennes Chairman has confirmed Arsenal is the likely destination for M'Vila --> Success!
Because of the amount of midfielders we would have when everyones fit. I'd love it but I knw really can't see Wenger signing both, hope I'm wrong tho.

Our wage bill!!!!
Saw him for Rennes against Bordeaux today.
Expertly control the midfield. Will add a vital shield to our defending.
I didn't want M'Vila because of his attitude but if Wenger wants him then he would have done his research. I'll be happily surprised if we get him and Sahin, we'll be overstocked with midfielders but with our injuries we'll need it.
Would be a Song replacement, nothing like Sahin.
M'Vila isn't a deep lying playmaker, why do people keep saying this? He is a good passer yes but he has a great reading of the game, breaks up play very well, to be honest I would compare him to Denilson more than Song. Albeit a far better version of Denilson.

Yes, oh dear ElChicco. Oh dear indeed....
Is this the and of the Sahin deal? Really wanted him.

I would compare him more to Gilberto before he got injured. People forget that Gilberto's passing was excellent and he was still able to carry the ball forward into the opposing half.
That stopped unfortunately when he cracked his back and Gilby became more invisible and stuck in front of the back 4. A young Gilberto is the type of player we need.
Jenius you are right actually about the Gilberto comparison. Hopefully if M'Vila joins us he can be as good as him.
Sahin is still coming btw, he was coming regardless of whether Song stayed or not!!!
Is this the and of the Sahin deal? Really wanted him.
No we are getting both
Say if we do sign both Sahin and M'vila what do people think our first choice midfield will be and what roles will everyone play?
Does Sahin mean that Ramsey is going permanently?
I still think we are in desperate need for a top class striker. Arsene's comments after the game hinted as much. It will interesting to see what actually happens in the coming week.
If M'Vila joins I'll we'll win a trophy this year
Does Sahin mean that Ramsey is going permanently?

I certainly hope so, I was just about to ask people what they thought signing Sahin meant for Ramsey
What top striker would you go for? The only player I can think of in our price range is Leandro Damiao and arguably Llorente but I can't see us signing another big forward.
No chance of Ramsey leaving permanently. Don't think he will even go on loan. Limited game time though, Jack and Rosicky are due back before Christmas.

Could M'vila Be Heading To Arsenal?
