I think that if we signed Hammill and Ince, plus an additional defender, we'd have a realistic shot at a top two place this year. The mirror reported today that Hammill is available at £500k. If this is true then we should bite there hands off. I've also heard that young Thomas Ince has a release clause under £2m which has been activated by a championship club, but I'm not sure if it's us. The decision is out of Blackpool's hands, but currently being mulled over by the player and papa Ince. They may well decide to stay put. This is just rumour i might add, but from the way Holloway was talking sounds plausible.

Hammill is absolute quality, I hope it is us that sign him

Young Incey looks premiership bound, do very well to land him. Young, talented left wingers are at a premium and his 2 goals on Saturday will just alert a few others to his talents

Ince wants to stay and has had his Dad telling Blackpool he does not want to leave. Matt Phillips though, another Blackpool winger, has handed in a transfer request after being refused permission to speak to another club, believed to be Southampton.

Maybe we are sneaking in under the radar again and going for Phillips?

If he plays anything like what he did here for Barnsley, then we should be in for a treat.

Hammill is a class player at this level. He went to Wolves in the premier league but unfortunately things didn't go to plan. Similar to McCleary IMO. 500k would be an absolute bargain IF true.

I'd personally prefer Ince to Phillips. Apparently Blackpool reject 5m for Phillips, and if Ince has a release clause at 2m then I'd be after him. Think he will stop there though. Feel sorry for Holloway because the chairman is giving him absolutely zilch.

I read on Sunday that we are after 2 wingers, I thought it was Hammill, and Ryan Hall from Southend? I think it was one of the owners, or O'D that said it. Assumed Ince would be on the way to the prem!

If we were to sign Ince/Hammill and Hall, then play-off is a possibility!

Good times to be a Red!

I'd love for us to land Hammill. We were linked with a move when he signed for Wolves and I remember feeling pretty gutted when we didn't get him back there.

Although I don't trust SSN in the slightest when it comes to transfer news/gossip ..... I'd rather believe the Forest Transfer Rumours website (and that's saying something!)

He looks an absolute menace in the vid. I'm just wondering why he never lit up the prem with Wolves

same reason Pep didn't. Poor management

You think that lot moan a lot down t'other end of A52, you should read the Wolves board

The poor management we nearly ended up with.

Yeah but Terry Connor was more clueless than clueless and out of his depth, their Board must be more clueless and inept than Marthur!

hammill is a class player and EXACTLY what we need. i really hope we can pull this one off!!

Hoons, I am sure our new owners have more to do with the recent transfers than Marthurs involvement (given his previous track record). I am sure Marthur makes a good cuppa for the owners

Good player.

Early indications are the new owners get a player if they want him. So there's a decent chance it could happen. I'd be happy.

Hammill would be the most exciting transfer to date
