Going to go for a continuation of Tuesday but with a little less drama.

2-1 brewers

I think this will be tough. Despite losing 0-1 Fleetwood played well against Forest in the Capital Cup had a 0-0 against Torquay who were decent last season and a narrow defeat 0-1 at Bradford. They haven't scored yet and although that can hardly give them confidence they have to score at some point. I obviously didn't see your demolition job on the Wombles and I'd imagine confidence is sky-high.

Considering all this and the total unpredictabilty of football I'm going for a tight 1-1.

Sorry to be a party pooper!

I see your logik our good Swindon friend, but having seen what we did to the Wombles im going 2-1 to the Brewers.

I hope I am not seen as taking the "mickey" out of this competition, but I am in somewhat of a dilemma in that I was over-optimistic about the Rotherham game, and felt we would not deliver on Tuesday. Wrong twice , generaly in a minority of one, I am now virtually convinced that whatever happens will be the reverse of
what I predict.

Hence until this spell is broken , I cannot predict a Brewers Win, since surely then it will just not happen.

Brewers 0 Fleetwood 1 (may God have mercy on me!)
C'mon you Brewers!!

im going for a 2-2 scoreline .Fleetwood will cause us problems at the back but im sure we will also breach their defence .This will constitute a decent start as both Rotherham and Fleetwood are the bookies favourites to win this league .

3-0 win for the Brewers, with Mcnulty at the back(he's fatter than Billy Brewer), we should have a field day.

While I would like to predict a Brewers win I just can't see how we will hold them out for whole game.

Fleetwood are certainly no Wimbledon and will offer a much harder test, so I can only see one result...Brewers 1 Fleetwood 2.

Please prove me wrong Brewers!!!

Earwig,
I've seen McNulty play and it dosn't matter how fat he is ,hes the one that makes them tick from the back.
He's as solid as a rock.
I will go for 1-0 brewers.

I think it will be close with the Brewers running out winners 1.0

I'll go for a 2-2 thriller, Fleetwood going 2 goals up within the first half hour, Burton to hit back through Billy Kee & a late Robbie Weir effort.

Sounds like a missed a treat on Tuesday!

Early morning flight back after a week of endless blue skies and hot sun with more than the odd drop of Multipulciano D'abruzzo so plenty of 'feel good factor' with the heart saying more of the same please guys!

Bur history shows that a big win is often followed by a coming down to earth and Fleetwood have started very tight at the back (though even tighter at the front!)

Adds up to 1-1 from me.

Big questions is - will I still get away with shorts and sandles or will I need my raincoat?
