Probably Scott of the antartic seeing as he lived 5 minutes from where I used to live.

Nottingham is a decent city ...do you ever get to any of the grounds on the Trent , footie or Cricket ????
I watch Forest a fair bit as I used to get free tickets. Don't now though and it's not cheap either. Go down for the cricket every now and then and that's well worth a look. T20's and the like are a great atmosphere but I love test cricket.
Catch a stags game if you can. Very loyal support.
Nazerth......Hmm is that the small town on the outskirts of Basildon ????
Yeah Mansfield isnt too far away , been to Derby CCC a few times , might go and watch Alfreton one day

How on Earth can you support Arsenal and Forest? What's wrong with just Forest?
Charlie Chaplin.
He lived on Salisbury St in Liverpool at the turn of the century which was 5 minutes from where I grew up.
Lived in same road as Phil parks when i was young
Nah, but I was pretty much born in Brian Clough's era. The man was a legend.
I follow Forest because they are my local club. My mates and stuff were all Forest-mad, and it drove me to support someone else, just to be different. So I supported Arsenal because it annoyed my Dad, who supports West Ham.
The Galloping Major Of Liverpool
Afternoon
It's amazing how many of the early Hollywood stars came from England
I believe Stan Laurel came from Ulverston near the Lake District
Ryo , so you're near Hoody and I as well
Even as a Spurs fan you cant knock Cloghie , I played darts with him and Peter Taylor for a couple of hours years and years ago at the BBC Club in Shepherds Bush

Afternoon
Certainly so, even more so when one grew up around a stones throw away!
I've actually read upon the extraordinary claims that Adolf Hitler lived in Liverpool for a short while before WW1 in a flat in Toxteth.
Anything but a hero but remarkable if true.
As a big Cricket fan I'd be pretty chuffed to be near where Larwood lived.

Charles Dickens would be mine.
Major don't tell Hoody about Hitler he'll only say he was an Everton fan
As for Larwood , I had no idea until the first time I went to the tiny town square and saw a smashing statue of a Cricketer , he married the daughter of the local Butcher who's family still have shops around here......After the bodyline series ended he was slaughtered by the public in England , I think they thought that Leg Theory wasn't "cricket" anyway he had enough of that and went to live in Australia where strangely was treated as a hero although maybe not a local one
Owain Glyndwr allegedly lived near where I was born
Bradley Wiggins is just down the road from me now
funnily enough i went to hitler's house in southern germany a few weeks ago. horrible little man he was
