In all seriousness though, why did Liverpool have to sack Dalglish? Would we have been competing with them for anybody, ever, if they'd retained the King?

No, we'd be using our position to get a great deal out of Real and they'd be negotiating with W. Ham for Nolan. <dih>

1. Sahin plays and has played for clubs who win
trophies.

2. Point 1 is a crime in Arsenal-land.

The End.

It's a rainstorm of trophies if compared to Arsenal's 'haul' though.

It's bad enough pulling out of the chance to land a top quality player without having said player join a club with extremely smug, arrogant and delusional fans

I thought he wasn't signing for arsenal

God you gooners are a joke, good club stadium manager and squad but terrible fans

No. United's and Chelsea's collection of trophies since we've won one could be more aptly described as that.

Liverpool's just go down as a bit of drizzle.

Over the last 7 years or whatever. We have infinitely more trophies than you.

You're prone to hyperbole I see. No doubting that you've won more than us in the last 7 years, but an "infinite" amount. That's a massive overexaggeration.

Its not a massive overexagerration, it's a fact.

Liverpool have won 2 trophies in the last 7 years, arsenal have won 0.

Thats a ratio of 2:0. Therefore, Liverpool have won (2 divided by 0) times more trophies than arsenal.

Anything divided by 0 is infinity.

Therefore, liverpool have won infinitely more trophies than arsenal in the last 7 years

Lol, really didn't think there was an explanation need for that one.

...explanation needed...^

That's not strictly true.

Infinity isn't a value.

Stop trying to be clever you ultra faggs.

Given the form of both clubs since Aug '05. The maximum trophy haulage that Arsenal could achieve over any amount of time would be '0'.

Whereas Liverpool's maximum amount would be dependant on the amount of time given. So if time were to just continue, the amount of trophies we could win would be infinite.

Hence, infinitely more trophies than Arsenal.

posted on 24/8/12

Not it wouldn't. It would always be 2 x the amount of times that period of time has been repeated.

Which is a value. Infinity has no value, much like your contribution to this website.

Division by '0' is undefined, not infinity.

...

If time were to just continue...

...

Then there is no 'value', it never ends.

Hence, 'infinite'.

No matter what Wenger/Arsenal does people are going to talk crap. If we took Sahin on loan, everyone would have said that we are a feeder club and just develop players, so we can send them back to bigger clubs. I like the decision to not get him on loan without a chance for a permanent deal.

I know this is dead now but I can't help but say anything divided by zero is undefined not infinity.

Sorry maths geek.

My god, do you have to make up such ridiculous figures to make yourself feel better?
We have not paid £5m and we are not paying all his wages.
