Im a second time passer , it happens to many ....best thing you can do is continue soon as possible as its really all about getting in practice

I was 3rd time of asking........i kissed my examiner 2 times when she passed me.....im pretty sure she was gonna be reaching for the can of mase if it attempted to kiss her again.

Only downside to failing a test is the cost to do it again......BSM cants!!!

Kill the examiner n hang his body from the test centre as a warning to thr next one whl dares to think they can fail u.

I failed first time but passed second time 15 years later. And no, I wasn't taking lessons for the 15 years

I stopped for 14 and half years which in hindsight wasn't a great idea as I pretty much had to start over.

However in saying that the time difference means that my second attempt kinda counts as a first

I passed 3rd time. Failed my second attempt on my 18th birthday

First time I had one X and that was for reversing round the corner and apparently a car went past and I didn't stop for it

Second time was just a mess

Third time only 1 minor

I passed my trailers with no minors

My wee brother just passed his at the fifth attempt - loser

Passed 1st time ya bunch a nuggets. I was sheeting myself the whole time though. I thought I failed though as I paniced when this banger tried to overtake me when something was coming the other way. I kept going though and when the wee old guy said Im pleased to tell you you have passed. I shouted ya fookin beauty!! He wasnt impressed. My instructor came over for the debrief and I stretched over the examiner to give my instrutor a big thumbs up. He wasnt ammused

Have passed the test 5 times first time in three different countries

I passed first time 2 months after my 17 birthday. On my first day of driving I managed to get my car up on two wheels while going round a roundabout. Pretty impressive considering it wasnt on the test.

Scots - I wasnt wearing any. Took them off before the roundabout when I went round a corner too fast, almost hit a wall and shat mysel.

I really dont know what they were thinking giving me a licence so young.

OP- btw my wife took 8 attempts to pass so dont feel too bad.

Think the majority of people fail first time then pass the second time.

Failed mines the first time for leaving an indicator on for too long after I'd turned, causing a truck to turn infront of me thinking I was turning myself.

Passed second time out but I was bricking it. Test was at about 3:30 on a Friday in Springburn. Had to drive through Royston just as all the mental school kids were getting out for the weekend. Had to watch for every wee rocket running across the road.

The worst thing about failing my first test was that the examiner let a silent but deadly eggy fart go about 5 mins from the end.

Dont know if they have changed it but NZ it was only 15

Boom dont know the regs where you took the test but by rights the truck was in the wrong also.
