That was a tremendous performance by ur boys today.
I'll also give credit to BR.
He tweaked ur system for today's game.
Some of the play was more direct as compared to WBA.
Defensive line was a bit deeper(due to 2 cuty strikers)
Gerrard given more of a free role.
Tells u that he is not stuck with 1 philosophy like AVB but can chop and change it for different opposition.
U shd have won.
Danm Skrtel.
you lot did this to city last year aswell and drew 1-1, liverpools problem for the last 3 years has ben against the likes of wba or wigan, they outplayed us at anfield for the last 3 or 4 years, nothing new 2day imo, liverpool turned up against one of the big boys at anfield and i expect the same next week against the gunners, lets see if that carries on
I never pay attention to anything a manager says after a game. Simply because it's all balls.
No manager will give away his intentions in a pre-match/post match interview. They'll just offer soundbites.
That said, thought Liverpool played really well today. Deserving of a draw at the very least. City got fortunate. If it wasn't for poor defensive play by Liverpool, City would have undoubtedly lost that game.
United_kaz has it spot to be fair.
Even under Hodgson we had some good performances against the big boys, especially at Anfield.
We play Sunderland, Norwich, Stoke and Reading before the end of October, as well as Arsenal, Man Utd and Everton.
It will be the performances in those 'easier' games that say more about us as a team this season.
