Dont want him, too selfish and wouldnt work in the system imo
I don't want him but think he'd become a fantastic player under Brendan but ONLY if he loses the attitude problem.
Ummm....hows he fit in then?

Or just rotate them for specific games.
Adds creativity to the side but as someone already said, the guy is flipping selfish..
And Brendan will play him on the right.

So you'd play that front three for every game would you?
If he goes to you it'll be as a striker. Complains when on the wing
if we contacted him and said look mate. we play 4-3-3. you will be on the right with suarez up front and someone else on the left. you might even occasionally get the chance to play through the middle and you'll starting almost every game as long as your willing to play for us in that system and your attitude is up to standard.
put that question to him and see what he says. if he's the slightest bit unsure then say cheerio. but if he agrees then he'd be an awesome signing for us. he was brilliant for chelsea at the start of last year
Sturridge. would be how I'd describe my reaction to signing him. Talented footballer but a douche nonetheless..
Some negative comments about him above but in reality this is the type of player we really need. Fast, skilful, unpredictable yes but on his day a match winner and a scorer of spectacular goals. We would be silly to not bid for him.
I think he's a BR type player but would he cut out that arrogance and stupidity?
He's behaved a lot better than Dempsey of late but we all want Dempsey.
How about both with Dempsey permanent and Sturridge on loan with option to buy?
