No one say they don't care about the result please.

Instead of sticking our heads in the sand lets face some tough facts....we are bad 'uns....bad players and bad manager & owners.
Stop making excuses and make some tough changes.
Utd's reserves would have beat this lot by 4 or 5 tonight.

Positives from tonight's game:
1) I didn't go
2) No extra time fatigue

Crawley 15 shots 4 on target.
Bolton 8 shots 3 on target.

if your looking at the bigger picture its best to be out of this cup especially picking up 2 injuries in it and concentrate on getting promotion but im doubting thats possible now under coyle .i think he might be joining andy thorn down the job centre quite soon.

I often wonder with our squad how different a job would I do. We do have some decent players!

looks like its gonna be a long hard season, or is it a long hard transitional period?

I fear there will be no positives from tonight's game.
We will get the " some players got important game time" line, " we look forward to Saturday, where there will be changes"
But we know what will happen, a draw at best at Hull, then more of the same............

It's all the players fault

"Crawle a great team with great players and manager and played with greater intensity that we expected.

"It's always diificult to go to a place like Crawley and get a result, but I thought we were the best team for 17 minutes and we don't have Holden & N'gog available.

"One or two players have to recognise that when they put on the white shirt, they have to play better than that and I'll be speaking to a few of them about it.

"Our fans were trrific again tonight and deserved better.

"We will brush ourselves down and work hard in training for the Hull game which wont be easy because Hull are awesome.

"I'm not going to hide behind anything as I am the manager and an ultimately responsible, so I will get my wife to thrash me with a wet Salmon on the bare buttocks tonight".

The only positive that could come from tonight is that Coyle will FINALLY realise that 4-4-2 doesn't do us well.

I'm on the turn...

That should have happened about 10 months ago Vera. He won't it will be the old Mike Bassett 4 4 fekkin 2 on Saturday. The guy is a bit slow when it comes to learning

I'm hoping he'll either turn into Father Jack in his interview or just shrug his shoulders and say "League Cup is rubbish anyway"

Though my money is on the 3rd Quote.

I'm more frustrated than I ever was while in the prem. We need a massive September or I might just have a Hillsborough breakdown in front of all the Wendys.

Too early to judge after 4 games

By the way, do we get a go in the Johnson's Paint/sherpa van/Anglo-Scottish cup this season?
Could be an opportunity to try out new fangled formations for a few minutes, perhaps give one or two youngsters a ride on the bus.

So, since leaving the pressurised environment of the Premier League, we've played four competitive matches.
And won one.

I was really positive before the season started because of the squad we have. However as each game comes and goes I'm getting more and more annoyed with coyle and how he hasn't learned a blooming thing at all in his time here and now I'd like a new manager please I'd sooner have Phil brown in charge at least he might sing for us.... (I don't actually want Phil though, he's not very good either).

Twitter is unbelievable at times like this. There is some weapon on there who first of all tweets that we all all worse than the Wigan fans because they stuck by Martinez, now he's saying that he's not bothered about tonight as it "was about trying new things"

Need to be winning these matches, no excuses ....

Need a good run now, starting at Hull, not turned just yet, still keeping to the ten - twenty game point, but this is definitely a blott .....

If we were drawing or losing matches whilst showing improvement in play, creating chances, looking positive, defending better, any or all of the above would be welcome, but we are looking second best every time we put a team on the pitch.
Not good enough.

I'm not surprised by this result as we are a poor team with an even more incompetent manager. He's a nice guy but hasn't a clue what he's doing and appears unable to learn from his mistakes. Bringing on Kevin Davies is daft, why not let Wylde have a go?

It's the same old stuff every game. I remember going to Hull and watching us lose under Megson, we were diabolical, I think it'll be a repeat this weekend and shalln't be making the trip.
