I don't think Willian will be seen as a replacement for Lennon but more of competition. Sandro, M'Villa or Moutinho (I hope this happens but money???), any 3 of Willian/Bale/Lennon/Dembele, plus Ade up front. Happy days at the Lane

i would be amazed if we sold lennon.

vdv less so, because i think AVB sees him as a bit of a luxuy player in this system, which he is... which is fine is he produces... but imo he was poor on satuday... and am amazed to hear some spurs fans say they thought he was good.

he weasnt great on sat but i dont see the point of replacing him, hes a quality player and proved he can do it in the pl

vdv is a luxury player, how he went from being everything for us to the way he is now playing too deep, trying to get involved with link play practically next to Gallas

We do need to improve on Lennon, he could of had 3 goals against Brom but he never attacked the back post and messed up his shot.

VDV is a dilemma.

imo he is the best finisher at the club. he is quality.

the problem is that its getting more and more infequent to actually see him in a position where he can use his deadly finishing.

as bob marley says, he spends far too much time dropping deep and unbalancing the whole thing.

if he wants to keep to his position and flat around behind Ade causing havoc, then i would play him every time...

but there is absolutely no point having our second stiker (which is effectively what he should be), playing dm, or even cm

Guys don't think of new players as replacements ....AVB has won the Europa a year or so back and I believe he will go after it again so we will have so many games we'll need a decent competitive squad and all will get plenty of starts
