He would be the worse thing to happen to Arsenal.

Why does everyone hate Kronke? he hasn't changed anything

The club is not self sustainable. It never will be. No football clubs are.

Thats just not true.

For all the money the club generates every season, when's the last time the first team squad had any actual financial investment in it?

We would be the exception. Ridiculously priced tickets in a rich part of London with 60,000 seats goes a long way towards that

People are forgetting that a lot of that money generated goes towards the Stadium debt and it compensates for our poor sponsorship deals.

---------------------------
Indeed he has. Every transfer business now requires a profit. And the wage bill is being systematically reduced. That is to show a profit and so boosting cash reserves. The cash reserves are being used to inflate the share price.

Kroenke will then sell at a higher price than the club is worth. Through a trade sale or IPO.

Thats why we have lost the most desirable players since he took over. Cesc, Nasri, RVP, Song Walcott. Its asset stripping.

How soon do we think Arsenal's ticket prices will hit the ceiling price?

Thats just not true.
---------------------------
It absolutely is. Its because of wage-price inflation.

Indeed a lot of it does.

But what happens to the rest of it?

And if Kroenke never intended to invest money into the club, why would it be so bad to see him leave?

once the stadium debts are paid off we will be pretty much sorted.

Why d I find this hard to believe?

Yes it is, along with Everton and two other clubs (can't remember which two) in the entire football league. Arsenal FC pays for itself now whilst paying back stadium debt. Assuming we stay in European competition (preferably ECL) we will always turn a profit come the end of a financial year. That is why much as AW is criticized for not spending wildly in the transfer market, the club itself is held in high esteem and rated by all as a great business model for a football club.

Spot on. Even though they (share holders) are not getting paid in each and every year but the know they will be rich eventually.

Arsenal can be self sustainable we have a stadium nearly paid for, capacity gates fans paying top prices for seats,a board that refuses to be blackmailed into paying wages we cant afford, producing profit by selling players at inflated prices,to me that makes Arsenal self sustainable.

I just don't want Usmanov in charge, i'm scared of him pumping money in the club and booming for 3-4 years then he leaves and the club collapses

It is quite ironic how he hasn't fifure out yet that this is not a sustainable system.
Comes to the point where we will start to run out of quality players to sell (we probably still have 2-3 remaining). What will he do after that?

Usmanov is not a sugar daddy billionaire like the others, he would want to make money and not just give out money without seeing a return on it!

The question should be, can a modern day football club make money?
