Spot-on with each point, he is nothing like modric either, no need for a debate here.

I just looked at his stats from last season 2 goals and 3 assists in 44 starts and 7 sub appearances. That is pathetic for a very attacking player.

He isn't Modric, I agree, but he's a quality player who having only played a year in the central midfield position has the potential to get a hell of a lot better than the high standards of play he's already showing.

Great signing for Spurs.

Dembele is twice the dirbbler as Modric, and although his goal scoring record isn't great, Modric wasn't exactly clinical in front of goal. Plus he's got strength and is threatening from set pieces. Don't kid yourselves, he's a very good signing.

It is a poor wum. Starts off saying he is a good player. Then proceeds to slate the player for rest of the article. It's essentially like me going onto the Arsenal board saying 'Spurs fan in peace, your team are crap'.

Modric adds so much more to the game. He dictates the tempo.
Controls the pace of the game, when on song.

Dembele just stampedes through, making dribbler here and there.

His technique is perfection, especially for someone of his height and build. Modric when he went missing, was out of the game completely, someone like Dembele i feel would get into the game a lot more often. Not sure about his decision making though, might be a bit more selfish than Modric.

Dembele probably is the better dribbler. But not by the margin you're claiming.

Modric is a lot more subtle with his game, as he's more intelligent.
Dembele is obviously more noticeable as ghosting past players is all he does.

Apart from dribbling and power. Modric is superior in every shape and form.

Modric has one decent shot every 5 games, his crossing is dreadful, I would know, I've watched pretty much every game he's played. He doesn't take corners or free kicks, every spurs fan knows he isn't the best crosser.
