glad to see the players we're bringing in are dedicated, got some real characters in the team
Good spin lads - but the clue is in the words "at my age"!
What it really means is that the guy is too old to play 2 games in a week.
All he really wants to do is drag his career out as long as he can whilst taking his money off you.
Bit like Savage did to us really!
Not necessarily a bad thing but lets not make out its a sign of his dedication to Forest eh? More to his bank account/retirement fund!
This is NOTHING like Robbie Savage
Comparing Collins to Savage?
Was Lily allowed to play for Wales? Did he not fall out out with Toshack?
So what if he is 32. From what I've seen so far he is more than capable of playing 2 games a week and it's not as if we haven't got backup.
We've made the mistake in the past of having a team full of youngsters.
I challenge you to name all the players in our squad that have been promoted from this league and then try and do the same with Derby's. Our soon to be iconic manager is slowly putting together a "squad" ready to make a top 6 push
"soon to be iconic manager"
"top 6 push"
Blimey that took 36 minutes to land that one
"it's not as if we haven't got backup."

Be careful what you say Webbo! We sold the backup to our backup to Derby, so we could potentially be up $h!t creek if a load of our players got injured
Oh come on hoons you cannot be serious!
Freeman was never our backup. Oh dear, what will we do?
I know. Resign Lascelles, bring in Ayala, Hutchinson, Collins, Halford, try Maloney...play wing backs with Cohen.... Even Moosi could play there. Oh no... we have far too many options, even NLN would struggle to understand.....
Moussi leaving tomorrow.
Ayala, Lascelles - not yet up to it
Halford

I don't think either is ready to be a regular centre-half in the Championship, unless shepherded by an experienced centre-half alongside. Just my opinion.
To return to the OP, what kind of to55er refuses to play for his country? Why on earth does this somehow make him a "top bloke"?

I dunno how fresh 32 year-old daisies are, but still it's a shame when players don't want to play for their country, whether they're Forest players or otherwise. I'm old-fashioned, but I think they should be proud to do it for as long as they physically can. Partly this is why our national team struggles - players put club before country because money comes before honour.
Maybe because he's 32 he doesn't think he "physically can" any more.
Maybe, but you're a long time retired, and international caps should be the proudest achievement of a player's career. What will he tell the grandchildren? "Yeah, I could have played a few more times for my country, but I just couldn't be ar5ed"?
