The way I see it is the amount of opposition fans we have on here winning that we're dropping out of the top 4, that we're not going to win anything.... It's all old news. We've been told for the past 5 years we're going to drop out of the 4, that liverpool and tottenham are coming for our spot. Well, with all due respect, Liverpool were a great club 30 years ago, but have never won the premiership, frequented the lower half of the table for practically the whole of last season, and now they are throwing money at overpriced english players to develop this so called English spine, how many world cups/euros has it won us? So how many epl titles do you think it will bring Liverpool? And tottenham, play some good football, but aren't there yet, and when harry leaves for England manager, I think they'll struggle. Man city are not a bigger club than arsenal. It was released this week that we are the 3rd highest valued sports team in the world, behind utd and barca. City and Chelsea didn't even make the top 50! Arsenal has a far bigger fan base than city and Chelsea, we may not hve won anything since 2005 but we have been restrained fincancially, yes it was self imposed, so that now we are the only club in the prem that can sustain ourself for the long run. City are not a bigger club than arsenal, and feel they never will be. The reason these opposition fans infest these boards is because they are worried that when we win a trophy, it will be the catalyst which fires us back into the upper echelons of world football. We have the most talented squad, and when we get that winning mentality, watch out!
