lol.
If it were a full rain-free match India would have won. Did you not notice the huge improvement in our batting between the 1st and the 2nd innings

You did only score 60 odd and Somerset scored over a hundred for the first wicket to fall, and India were still 400 odd in deficit
Didnt somerset declare at something like 260 for 3 in their second innings?? Maybe if they continued to bat(if it was a test match) they would have gotted 500 to go with the 400 in the frirst innings..
Do not worry, Lazyplayer. I was just being as serious as the original poster. And enjoy watching England getting trashed over the next two months.

Big words, but even you will have to admit that being bowled out for 224 on a flat pitch against an aging county side who scored 400-3, is not a good start to the tour,
I would not read too much into those results. The practice match was just an opportunity for the players to get a feel of the English conditions. What I admit though is that we have in the past been slow starters and hopefully from this series onwards we stop this trend.
Why waste time trying to a read the positives from a pointless practice match?

India didn't have a practice match in SA in 2010, and they didn't do too badly considering they almost defeated SA in SA.
