I wish I had the time to play games like you Sam...
-------------------------------------------------------------------
I only really play football games that's it. Everything else I watch the trailer and say I will buy it, but when the time comes to buy it, I'm not bothered or I would much rather spend my free time doing something else
Fair enough Sam.
When I first got my PS3 I went through a phase of buying all the big games but never playing them.
Now, when I get time, Ive been trying to work my way through them
PES 2012 is great and for anyone that thinks otherwise.......
It's bad. Very bad. And I own it. I can only sim master league games now. Trying to actually play a game is infuriating.
I really enjoy PES 2012. Only gripes is the shooting too often goes down the middle, and the pass power is inconsistent, and first time passes are often weak.
I like the difficulty, in my 3rd ML season. 1st two finished 5th and 6th. PES 2011, started a ML on that on the highest difficulty, won the first 10 games and drew one, gave up on it.
PES 2012 is a funny game, you'll have a blinding cracking game one match where everything flows and feels close to an exciting prem game, then next game will be a bit of a disaster.
Has anyone noticed the game plays different on Copa Libatores or whatever it is?? Is a faster game with better ball control, is odd
so is 2012 a buy for pes homies?
2nd demo was marginally better than the first. Looks like its going to be FIFAs year yet again.
Well if FIFA 2012 is anything to go by i beg to differ........
In terms of playability, it's a tough call between Pro Evo 12 and FIFA 11.
FIFA 12 wasnt great but it was at least a marginal improvement on 11. Pro has just been going backwards and it doesnt look much better now.
Are you kidding me? The demo plays a lot better then PES 2012, i am certainly not saying PES 2012 was any good, too many game breakers, but paid for reviews aside FIFA 12 wasnt that great either and is especially poor for single players. If you have played the demo tony you could at least see that PES 2013 plays a lot better than recent football games on the single player side of things
EA Sports and Konami have gotten very complacent. They know people will always buy their games, however mediocre they may be.
I really think it's time for greater competition. Someone should come in and make a great football game.
Too expensive. Making the game itself is pricey enough without having to dish out ridiculous fees for only a few club licenses. FIFA have a monopoly on that. EA guess how well a up and coming company would do releasing a football game not marketed by millions of dollars, without actual teams, no actual competitions and isnt called FIFA.
Well PES 2014 may potentially see a big change as the series is being moved to the UK for development. Not having a go at the japenese but hopefully we can bring in some realism into the game - and i mean ai game wise and make it feel more like football and less robotic and scripted like it has been
Unfortunately football has too much soul for the Japanese to replicate. Technically they're great but....find me one great, hell, find me one GOOD Japanese rock band.
Konami are Japanese. EA are Canadians/ Americans. Clearly, neither understand what football, and thus a football game, is really about.
It's no surprise that EA make great NFL games i.e. Madden.
