Reina needs to be dropped. 2 games and 2 gaffs.
so much for destroying the poor wee scottish opposition shame your not in the champions league wouldn't mind having liverpool in our group would be an easy 6 points
Reina worst keeper in the league
That was quite possibly one of the worst performances I have ever witnessed by Liverpool at Anfield. I genuinely mean it. We were awful.
Well done lads, great support, glad you have given the team some time.
easy win on aggregate
we always had 9 more gears, a turbo boost, and a bought ref
(That's my Manutd impression)
Lol, we played some good stuff in the second half. One of them games where a goal early on and hearts would have crumbled. They defended well, but isnt that what smaller teams do in knockout competition?
just illustrated our need for a finisher and some concentration for pepe
reina worst keeper in the league. your forgetting rob green!
we badly missed a decent striker/winger tonight. we were much better when sterling came on but still needed a striker who can take a chance to score
Cob don't be so blinkered. We struggled against a SPL side with our dodgy keeper at it again.
We need a striker like Torres used to, who occupies the opposing defences and doesn't let the opposition sit comfortably in midfield and press on us like Hearts did in the first half. Borini, Morgan and Suarez won't do this.
Sahin to step into midfield for rest of the season will add flair and creativity. We need a goal machine though
We dominated them. Just lack quality penetration.
Reina at fault again, he needs to focus as this is happening more frequently now.
Ironic on the day we force a 35million striker out the door we yet again looked completely toothless. Woe betide us if we don't get a scorer in tomorrow.
He was trying out players like Henderson to where he could play him.
Really? Jesus we weren't that bad Hearts defended admirably and so difficult to break down, we dominated for at least an hour after a shaky start. Had Suarez had a better game I could've seen a 3-0 win.
We lacked some cutting edge but bearing in mind there was only half of the starters it wasn't too bad considering we got the job done.
If Hearts hadn't had to shed all their big 5k/week earners at the end of last season and replace them with boys from their youth team..they might have beaten you
We definitely deserved to win by 2 or 3 tonight but yet again it is poor finishing and unforced errors that are costing us.
At least Suarez bailed us out tonight but that performance was akin to countless games last year.
Do we never learn?
Reina, awful.
if we don't add a goalscorer. this will happen to us time and time again at home this season
Sahin will make a difference guys trust me!! We will sign someone tomorrow as well!! Dempsey was a goal machine for Fulham last season if he signs he will make a huge difference
I am not blinkerd, we didn't play that badly. Dominated possesion, Suarez should have had 3, and we were wastefull with our crossing.
I am just not going to make statements like 'worst football i have seen at Anfield', people must have some pretty short memories.
We are in transition, there were 3 new players in the stand, Agger, Johnson, Enrique, Lucas all were not playing.
Jesus people need to calm down, we are through, probably the same people creaming them selves after the city game, bipolar much?
What's happened to reina?, i used to rate him highly, but last season he had a shocker, and has started this season in similar form, it's not just the funny accidents like the ball hitting the post then rebounding off his bald pate into the net, his all round game is getting a bit suspect.
We actually didn't play badly..
We just couldn't finish.
Hopefully with Carroll gone Brendan has another striker lined up.

Maybe he's spending too much time playing with the ball Aysha his feet in training and not spending enough time on his goalkeeping duties?
