His brain has been taken over by David James!!!
Slowly starting to worry about Pepe...it's a slippery slope as a keeper - once the nerves set in you need a performance of a lifetime to get rid of them.
No pressure for his position but he needs a kick up the backside and warm the bench. I have no faith in him.
He didn't spot the Vaseline I smeared on his gloves at half-time.
Many people will disagree but I think people are over reacting, we are just used to him be brilliant, he has made a few high profile errors but still sweeps up well behind the defence and is generally good, just switched off.
Hopefully the jolt he needs.
I was just about to post an article about him myself.
Rumours that he has been unhappy the last year or two and noticed the fans were worried about him leaving.
Honestly now if he handed in a transfer request I really couldn't care less. He has become a liability, far too many costly errors. Good keepers should be helping you to win games, not the opposite!
We could have signed Cesar in the transfer window to would that have been a good signing for us?
He's not been the same since beachballgate.
We'll see how he follows this up.
It was a howler, and he didn't cover himself in
glory with the first goal against City either.
Needs a big performance against Arsenal.
he's perfect, in fact the best possible keeper, for the style of football Buck wants us to play.
he'll lose these nerves and normal service will resume.
It is worrying, but it's not a lack of ability. Just nerves.
Cesar makes regular howlers.
He is like Heurelho Gomes.
He is indeed perfect for our system...it's probably just a slight decline in form. A couple of top performances and the old swagger will return.
Probably doesn't help him that we have had constantly changing cb for the start of the season, you get used to the way they throw themselves and try to block shots.
sign brad friedel for a year!
I'm more worried about the lack of strikers, we should have been out of sight by the time the goal went in and up to then Pepe had done a great job pushing the play forward from the back.
It happens when you have nothing to do and get board.
He's too comfortable. We don't have a good second keeper to keep him on his toes. He's a guaranteed starter. Every player needs someone breathing down their neck.
