They have an option to buy. They probably won't take it up, nor will Caroll want to go there permanently, unless he really enjoys it

I imagine we can tell AC to reject the permanent move because we want him back in the first team under those circumstances.

The risk is he tells us to do one...which he'd be quite right to in my opinion.

carroll will score a lot for west ham i reckon. i suppose if he does that his value would increase so we could get more next summer whether that's from west ham or not. if we can get someone quality in tommorrow then fair play. if its just dempsey, i'll be very sceptical
