The Leeds team is not weak.
We just don't have any strength in depth after our starting 11
Its a hard one to call this game could go either way even a draw would not be a bad result for both of us.
Ticket prices you have hit the nail on the head, bates is a greedy ???? he has not got the heart for leeds united and the sooner he is gone the better.
As for tomorrow as always I cant wait to get to the match and support, cheer my team that I love to victory hopefully and another 3 points in the bag hope you enjoy the game aswell blueandwhitehalves and join in with the man u songs that we always sing.
The Leeds JA 606 board is by far the best in the Championship (in terms of number of users!).
Unfortunately I can't make it but rest assured I'd be joining in with anything anti-Man.Ure if I could! A draw would be a cracking result for us, but as I say I think it'll likely be a comfortable win for you and a massive wake-up call for us. Not that Kean will see it like that, doubtless he already has a raft of laughable excuses ready.
How's your debt these days? Suppose there's a small chance you're still putting a lot into paying off that. Shame if it is Bates being a greedy prat though, football will go to the dogs if these criminal owners gobble up more and more clubs.
The Leeds board is probably in the top 3 boards on this entire site regarding activity.
This team is not weak, we have the tools to beat any team in this league!
Strength in depth is our problem
You have some classy players but means doesn't know how to use them in this league.
Your class will show in this game, however so will our grit and determInation.
I'm going for a draw or a heavy Win either way!!
Its Bates versus Venkys......
which one is more disliked......
At least the genius make chicken!!
Going to be good game and could go either way. On the one hand i respect keane for the way he handled himself last season under pressure from the fans. On the other hand though I don't think he's good enough and the way he dumped on big Sam was a joke. The venky's are also a joke and should never have been allowed to buy the club. Once they did though, they showed their experience and really screwed things up, Big Sam would have made sure of mid table but was cast aside, and then they giot rid of a director that has blue and white running through his veins. Stupidity and now Blackburn have to play in this league with us. On paper we should get beat, but I think the keane factor will go against Blackburn
I fully expect us to win this one, Steve Kean is a terrible manager and if Blackburn get anything from this, it will be down to the players themselves, they have some good players, but our team is far from weak, in fact quite the opposite, it's the depth that's weak.
I honestly can't believe Blackburn have spent 8m on Jordan rhodes. It just showes now exactly what football has become. That's ridiculous money for a player unproven above league 1.
Whist I envy any club that can afford even 1m on a player at the moment, I'd hit the fuccing roof as a fan if we spent 8m on him.
At least the genius make chicken!!

Did someone have their spell checker on?
And tez, your chairman doesn't give a figure and doesn't say how much they paid up front. So why you think that is beyond me
Welcome blueandwhitehalves!
Leeds lost the debt when they went into administration, with the only proviso that we pay something like £5m to creditors IF we get to the prem within a few years.
We've been one of the few league teams that's turned a small profit for each of the last three years.
Some suspicions raised on the forums are that Bates may be siphoning cash out in some way, but I guess we will never know for sure.
Should be a good game tomorrow. Good luck, but not too much eh?
Oh and while you are here, even the Blackburn website says 8 million deal. Not the 12 you all seem to think its worth
Shows how much the chicken murderers know about football if they think Rhodes is worth £8M - He's worth £2M at the very most!
Norwich bought Steve Morison for £2.6M and he looked much better than Rhodes!
Is £8m a lot of money? Of course it is but the owners obviously feel this is required to get us back in the premier league at the first attempt. With the parachute payment scheme and possible windfall if we do get promoted this season, this is pocket change.
However, it could end up all going horribly wrong!
Doc - That he backstabbed Sam to get the job is one of the major reasons we hate Kean. Along with never admitting to being wrong and refusing to resign for the good of the club. If you delve a bit into his personal life he seems quite a different person to the one you see in interviews too.
LFF36years - cheers mate, ditto! With any luck we'll both be in the running come the end of the season however tomorrow goes.
Regarding Rhodes, I agree its silly money but its not as bad if Huddersfield only get some of it depending on certain conditions being met. Still unclear whether thats the case. You'd think though that if a player can score more than a goal every 2 games at one level, and he's young and still improving, he should be able to do the business at the level up too. 2 in 2 so far this season, I think he'll do well for us. Not £8m well, but the chicken chokers owe us big time so they can pay through the nose as far as I'm concerned.
Wild Rover.
£8M is a hell of a lot of money for a player that has had 1 good season in League 1!!
blueandwhitehalves.
Why would you want to delve into his personal life?
That side of his life should be exactly what it says.
One good season? Scoring 23 in 09/10 and 22 in 10/11 weren't good seasons then?
Maybe so YoungWhite but only if his personality also isn't used in his defence, which it always is. If people stop defending Kean because he's a "nice guy", we'd be less inclined to point out the numerous personal reasons for why he isn't.
While we are discussing Keane.
Seriously now, what is wrong with that mans face?
Does he have some condition that makes him so spotty?
Its s like looking at a 15 year old...a big bald 15 year old, but a 15 year old none the less...
Lets see how many he scores in The Championship then
YoungWhite,
There's no disputing that but he's already showed signs this season he can step up to the next level by scoring for club and country.
£8m is crazy but you have to pay over the odds for young british players these days, thats just the way things are.
After the asset stripping Venkys have done over the last year, I'm not going to moan when they put their hands in their pockets and stump up for one of the most exciting young talents outside of the premier league
Its the very least they can do
Its all well enough paying 8mill for an unproven striker but he will need support and El Keano dont know nothing about tactics .We could not even beat a second string liverpool with 10 men, just hold out for the draw.I am perplexed and confused with all the shenanigans at Ewood.Leeds and Rovers two great clubs ruined through inept management and over the top spending on players who just came for the cash!
