If Rafa is off it means Dembele will be playing a bit further forward more often than most expected. If we don't sign another creative CM it's ESSENTIAL Huddlestone doesn't go out on loan.
VDV has a better than 1-in-3 goal record for us...those goals will need replacing too. A centre-forward AND another goal-scoring wideman will be essential

Dont forget that Sigg was probably bought to replace RVDV....He nasnt had the greatest of starts for us but he was great at Swansea and I'm sure that if given a bit of time he will come good

Not to replace VDV in my book, to compete with - we suffered before because we only had Rafa that could play there before. You need two options for each position minimum
HRH - but the players coming in appear to be able to play/cover multiple positions. We suffered with Rafa because the team had to be built around him, but he could only play 2/3 matches.
It's about opinions mine was that he was RVDV replacement , we all liked RVDV but he did have issues
