This time last year people heralded a great transfer window with NRC, Ngog, eagles, Mears, tuncay and Boyata look at what happened. By October you will know the type of window this has been

As Petrov says, it's hard to judge but I live in hopes.

Well Spearing has now been confirmed. At the moment I'm fairly satisfied. We've so far kept hold of the key players and managed to address some of the issues in the team without excessive outlay. I like the look of Andrews, Mills looks like he could develop to be a solid centreback once he settles in whilst we all know the quality Afobe should have coming through the Arsenal youth system.

Provided that Gartside unplugs his fax, switches off his mobile and goes and hides we should be good.

So presumably we never were entitled to a Chelsea loan as part of the Cahill deal after all? We just wishfully imagined that

For me, one of the requisties of a good transfer window, is Natalie Sawyer giving us an eyeful of her superlatative bosom on SSN.

Twitter says that we are not doing any more dealings this window

i'm a little gutted always love a cheeky loan on the last minute of the window

I'm quite sure Mark Iles, Hasade comments regarding a deal with Chelsea. In one of his articles he says that OC may be saving that loan deal for next season hoping that we can achieve promotion and use it then.

All you who use twitter might ask him, he is answering a lot of tweets and posting them on the Bolton News site on the, Transfer Deadline Day article.

Doesn't it make a nice change to scrabbling around at the last minute though?

When I found that out I had to have it confirmed from about 4 different websites before I actually believed it!

Petrov. Superlatitive might be the best word I've heard to describe chesticles (which was my previous favourite). Unless you just mistyped superlative. In which case I'm claiming I made it up!

Petrov isn't the wordsmith you give him credit for, and unfortunately it was a typo on my part. However, I expect full recognition and kudos nonetheless.

Oh yeah. Sorry Largehat. 50/50 credit if it makes into the next edition of the Oxford Dictionary?

WATAOWOW

If it's superlatative then 75%/25% in my favour
If it's superlatitive then 50/50.
