I don't think the lad has booked jack shecht
Visa's for there can take a fair old time to be approved for starters.
Hotels in Moscow cost a feggin fortune.
As for the flight costing £270....
Cheers sean, that's not a bad price.

Try the Baltschug Kempinski - great hotel
U15751,
You can get flights from about £160 from London if you are prepared to change in Germany, Switzerland or Sweden. Direct flights from London are around £240.
Hoist by your own petard methinks. Pffft.
Anyone going to Barcelona? Booked my flights lat night, sorting out a hotel the now. Can anyone recommend a good one, that's relatively cheap?
Well times have changed then as it cost me nigh on £400 flying from Heathrow and that was what, about 4 years ago.
Oh and the visa took about 2 weeks IIRC to be stamped up. But I'm sure Seany Bhoy will find all this out when he "flies out"
curly, you guys are always welcome here
but in the true spirit of presbytery democracy, I would hope that you would extend the welcome the other way
U15751,
Times have changed. A visa agency will do a one day service for about £200. A 7 day service will cost you about £110.
Sean of the South,
Don't be tempted to stay at anything less than a four star hotel. It just isn't worth the hassle for the saving you could make.
Moscow has a series of ring roads around it. The centre is pretty much defined by one of these, the Garden Ring. You should book something within or just outside the Garden Ring. A hotel room will cost you £150+ a night.
