i am a big fan of damiao.. and wanted us to get him 18 months ago... but you are correct... dempsey is no joker....!

and he is versatile.. can play up top, either side of the three, or in the hole

Hudd to Fulham will be gutting for me, as I reckon he is quality when fit.

Defoe? I would say over 50% of this board wouldn't have cared less if he went.

Dempsey? 29 years old, one really good season and he is all of a sudden a great signing.

hopefully we dont lose key players, but even if we do, at least we have adequate cover...

i would like to add moutinho to the mix, so lets wait and see... if we dont get him, then maybe we can snap him up in january or next summer. or maybe dembele and sandro will just boss it, and we dont need him

mate.. i have been going on about that for about the last 3 windows if not more.... the club never seems to want to replace out and out wingers with out and out wingers.... !

i dont know why.. however what i do know, is that dempsey is far better replacement for either than niko or peinaar were... faaaaaar more of a goal threat.

Dempsey isn't a striker. I wonder how far down the list of targets he was
