It was obvious that anybody we were interested in would have their price bumped up by their current clubs,,, Beckford obviously wants to come,, No doubt we can get him on loan with an agreement to buy when the loan window opens,,, Hammy will be a good signing, And i have no doubt Beckford will be when we eventually land him,,, Yup agree with all, No worries.
lets see how many of us are worrying come 5pm shall we!
yes the loan market opens up next week and any decent player is gonna be on a high salary so nowt will have changed really.....we either pay up or shut up!

barca would you rather we bought someone just to keep the fans happy or wait and get the right player i felt the same when we didnt sign anyone at first but then thought about it and glad we didnt panic buy someone just for the sake of it and like i said if we had bought someone would they have been eligible to play today anyway so the team would have started with vaughn up front lets just wait and see has hoyle let us down yet i dont think he has
if i were paying jr 20grand a week i,d av told blackburn to keep their money..and told jr to shut the ferk up and get back to training!
then told the fans about the greedy little cernt
Why? 8million is crazy money. We had to accept that.
Berbatov 4m
Adebayor 5m
Dempsey 6m
Rhodes 8m
Not hard to see why we accepted when you look at it that way!
he wasnt on 20grand a week he was on 10 and why keep a player when he wants to go good riddance and hopefullt pelts gives him a good kicking today and hoyle did tell the fans about him wanting to go fior the money so he has been honest
it is champs...but look at it like this if we get relegated it would cost us 6/7m in lost revenue....and not replacing him is gonna hit us hard in this league!
at first i thought well if they are gonna pay him 40k a week then good on the lad...but then we learn we were paying him 20grand a week in wages 750k a season!
the good will i had for jr is now gone and i will always remember him as a greedy little cernt!
We won't get relegated. We will have another striker in before the next home game and it won't have cost us the earth. That'll do for me.
me too...but i just think if we want a decent replacement we will have yo pay up!
I read between the lines what Grayson is quoted as saying...I think he is looking forward to re-jigging the forward line in the same way he has the rest of the team. While Rhodes was here obviously he had to play him every game, but I just think he will bring in more pace and energy now to complement what we have in midfield. Sure it won't be a 40 goal man, but then how many would Jordan have scored this season...20-25 ?
but how many did he set up for others...not many..he is a predator, what we want now is someone who can get 18-22 goals and also contribute more overall and create openings for others to chip in another 15-20 goals....
That to me is a better all round scenario for this new team, provided whoever we bring in has the right attitude, energy and vision...am sure this is where Grayson is wanting to go and to be honest, I agree with him.
clibbens just said beckford and town had tied things up but foxes pulled the plug at the 11th hour....so it seems we were prepared to pay his wages so time to take a chill pill me-thinks
Chaps lets see how we do today!
yes nothing to worry about lets give them time im sure another striker will be in place soon and lets forget about the greedy tw-t rhodes move on and forward hope he doesnt score for weeks and like i said hopefully pelts gives him a right kicking and knowing warnock im sure he will be telling his players to up the town
